Flagstar is offering a $100 bonus or 10,000 Flagstar Rewards Points when you open a new Flagstar S.M.A.R.T. Interest Checking account.

In order to qualify for the bonus, you must satisfy the following:
- Minimum deposit of $50 is required
- Must set up an automatic, recurring direct deposit of income of at least $250 per month
- Direct deposit must be established within the first 60 days of account opening
- All accounts must remain open and active for a minimum of six months
Here are some of the fine print details:
- You must be enrolled in Flagstar’s Loyalty Program to qualify for free ATMs
- Only new pesronal checking account customers qualify
- New Wave and Next Step checking accounts do not qualify for rewards points
- Next Step checking does not qualify for the $100 deposit offer
- Flagstar will issue a 1099 for the $100 bonus
- Limit one deposit or rewards bonus per customer

I absolutley love Flagstar Bank. They are open 7 days a week and give incredible service. *By the way, you are automatically enrolled into the loyalty program when you set up direct deposit.

Flagstar Bank is evil. They are known to perpetrate forced insurance fraud upon their home loan customers. They are still doing it as of 10/19/2009.
