• Open a Sovereign Premier or Interest Checking account by May 22nd
• Use your CheckCard to make 6 purchases totaling at least $250 in 60 days
• Minimum opening deposit of $10
• Make 6 purchases totaling $250 within 60 days of opening the account

The premiere checking account requires a minimum balance of $15,000, or else you will be charged a $25 monthly maintenance fee. The checking rate on this account is also a measly 0.15%. On the other hand, the “interest checking” account pays even less, with a 0.02% yield. However, there’s no minimum balance requirement and the $5 monthly maintenance fee is waived if you have one regular direct deposit.
