Minimum balance to earn 5.31% is $10,000, which is a bit higher than other savings accounts. Balances from $5,000-10,000 earn 5.21% APY, and balances from $1-5,000 return 5.11% APY.
Interest is accrued daily and compounded monthly based on the ending daily collected principal balance. A total of six pre-authorized transfers are permitted per cycle period. A penalty may be imposed if your account exceeds the pre-authorized transfer limit. A high yield savings account is a great way to maintain liquidity while still earning a high return on your savings.

I went to the UFB Direct web site, to sign up. They list a saving rate of 1.05%. There is no saving acct that has anywhere 5%.
