It seems that Emigrant Direct Dream Savings has stopped allowing transfers between savings accounts and other external accounts. You can still transfer between your savings account and “official” linked accounts. I’ve always been a fan of Emigrant Direct for their high CD rates, ease of use, and good customer service, but they definitely should have sent notification before initiating the change. This doesn’t really affect me as I use my emigrant direct account to hold extra cash but could be a problem for those that need to transfer money out.
