I took a look at their current CD rates, and they are offering a 13 month CD for 5.25% APY and $500 minimum. I’m not sure exactly why one would offer a CD at a lower interest rate than a savings account (probably because the savings account rate is variable) but for the moment Apple Bank’s 5.27% APY is one of the highest savings rates available.
