Community State Bank has a reward checking account called Free Everyday Rewards Checking. It pays 5.01% APY on balances up to $25,000 (0.50% for above) and refunds ATM fees nationwide (up to $20 per cycle) if the following monthly requirements are met:

• 12 Visa check card purchases
• One direct deposit or ACH debit
• Electronic statements

If these are not met, the rate falls to 0.15%. Minimum deposit to open is $100. There is no monthly service charge. One downside is that they allow only one account per social security number.

A branch visit is required to open an account. Branches are located in the Wisconsin cities of Union Grove, Burlington, Kansasville, Mt. Pleasant, Rochester, Sturtevant, Waterford and Paddock Lake.
